The 12 Hour Challenge
Could you spare just 12 hours to help make a difference to girls and young women in your community?
Getting involved with guiding doesn’t necessarily involve a lot of time or a regular weekly commitment.
Many people would like to help in a small way. Any help assists regular leaders by freeing up their time to spend more of it with the girls and young women in their Units.
Perhaps you could share your interest in gardening or your ability to help girls enjoy the outdoors whilst walking or climbing; maybe you’re great at fundraising or keeping accounts?
Do you like shopping? – we need Unit shoppers! Or perhaps your interest is in photography or producing eye-catching displays. If you’re strong on administration, we need people to help with grant applications, producing newsletters or running local depots.
There are plenty of different roles.
We are looking for both women and men who can share their skills and experience with the next generation. If you have any skills/qualifications/experience that you would be willing to share with our members, please contact us.
And of course it doesn’t have to be exactly 12 hours – it can be as few or as many as you are able to give. All help is welcome.
Will you take up our challenge? Complete the following form to contact us and find out more.
