Wilmslow Scarecrow Festival, July 2010

Helen Dupere entered the Wilmslow Scarecrow Festival with this scarecrow handsewn over the weekend having only decided on Thursday afternoon to enter - "had a 'light bulb moment' having looked at the posters for ages and then thought guiding should be in it. Phoned the library and spoke to head librarian and she was really positive and said Eliza Scarecrow (named by Lauren!) could live at the library for the week. Was told I was too late to be part of the treasure hunt but in fact seen it today and we're on it as a clue so lots of people should be looking for her!"

2nd Wilmslow Brownies

and their Leader Helen Dupere had a fantastic time chalking the centenary logo all over the church car park. They would like to say a big thank you to the Minister, Kirsty for letting them do this.
