A message from Hannah Rigden, Community Officer
Hannah Rigden is the communities officer for Rostherne Mere Nature Reserve, which is in the same village as Egerton Hall. In the past groups staying in Egerton Hall have taken the opportunity to have a guided walk on the reserve.

They are also are working on programmes appropriate for badge work, e.g. guides science badge or brownie wildlife explorer.
Risk assessments are complete and they have a team of keen and knowledgeable, and some CRB checked, staff and volunteers available for occasional visits.
Please make any bookings through the address below, and with either Hannah Rigden or Sarah Warrener, the Senior Reserves Manager for

Attached is a link to our campaign to give 1 million children an opportunity to get outdoors and have a great outdoor experience. Our visits are free of charge.
