Christmas Tree Festival

The County Campfire Circle were invited to sing carols at the Alderley Edge Methodist Church Christmas Tree Festival on Saturday December 5th 2009. There were 41 trees in the church, decorated by some of the different goups that are involved in the church's outreach, including the Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and also the Explorer Scouts.

 The CampFire Circle sang twice whilst people wandered round the decorated Christmas Trees. Some even sat to listen and joined in as the group sang a selection of fifteen carols and later remarked that we could call ourselves a choir, not just a group of friends singing! This was an opportunity for some excellent PR so thank you Judy for organising this opportunity for us.
