Guiding in the News.

'One Hundred Years of the Girl Guides' should have been shown again on BBC 2, Sunday Dec 13th. However the snooker was running late so the programme was not shown. The good news is that a DVD of the documentary will also be available from Trading Service from Jan 4th 2010. The order code will be 7600 and the selling price will be £10. The CHQ shop will also stock copies of the DVD from next week. Cover of DVD.

The September 'Big Issue' Northern Edition carried two pages of the history of guiding.

Naomi Wellman whose comments feature in the article is from Knutsford and a member of the county PR team.
