Middlewood's Centenary Celebration
A Centenary service was held at St Michael’s Parish Church on Sunday July 4th and was attended by Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Senior Section, Leaders and Trefoil Guild Members.
After the service everyone walked in procession to West Park where they had a picnic. All the girls were given a can of bubbles and enjoyed blowing them in the park.
We ended our event with a singsong led by Marge Bates.
Everyone had a lovely afternoon.

Barnaby returned to Macclesfield and Girlguiding was there.
The group of girls and leaders were from Broken Cross District accompanied by 'Daisy Div' (Julia).
We had a great time - the weather was kind and the atmosphere was aided by the Samba band behind us- lots of dancing en route! The Rainbows asked if we could go round again.
