Wednesday 16th June brought a BUMPER crop of Strawberries for the annual Strawberry Fair at Egerton Hall. We were able to see the exciting plans for 'Growing Girls Growing Guiding' which is the County entry for the RHS Show in July in Tatton Park and visualised the ornamental structures and flourishing plants which will enhance the garden at Egerton as well as providing a fun element to our Residential Activity Centre in Rostherne Village. |

Crafts for Christmascame to Egerton Hall on Wednesday November 26th 2009 for an informal evening which was greatly enjoyed by the 30 - 40 people who attended. Crafts available included using the Sissex Machine, making Christmas cards/Christmas Baubles, Bottle Bags, Christmas wreaths as well as Flowers in a Glass. Some stalls were there too e.g. Egerton Hall Goods, Ribbons, RSPB - plus good quality (bargain) wrapping paper and crackers as well as cards. The mince pies and punch were very welcome. Our thanks to everyone who helped in any way. |

25th Anniversary Garden Party
In July we held a Garden Party to celebrate the 25th Birthday of the total renovation of Egerton Hall and its change of use from Village Hall to Cheshire Border’s Residential Activity Centre.
The committee were pleased to welcome The Mayor of Knutsford, Cllr. Miss J.K.Holbrook along with past Chairmen, Guiders, Trefoil Guild members and several residents of Rostherne village. Prue Bowles, Barbara Fawkes and Tricia Wilson cut the cake depicting the 25th commemorative badge.
