Cheshire Border Senior Section girls visited the Guide World Centre in Sangam, India in summer 2008. A group from Haslington tell of their experiences and show gratitude to people who helped them to raise money for the trip. READ about their experiences.

The World Association for Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS) is the umbrella organisation for all members – and there are 10 million individual members! There are four World Centres where any member may stay.

Postcard Exchange

7th Congleton Brownies took part in the Postcard Exchange this year and this is a photo of some of the 46 postcards they got back.

Cards were mostly from USA but there was one from each of Greece, Denmark, Australia, three or four from Canada and 3 from the UK.

A group of Guiders and Senior Section members from Cheshire Border had a fantastic visit to India and visited Sangam Guiding World Centre.
