Weaver Division and Districts
Weaver Division’s name was chosen for the reason that the River Weaver runs through the area covered by the Division.
The Division is made up of five Districts each with it’s own Commissioner and her team who all work together supporting Adult Guiders, Young Leaders, Unit Helpers, Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Senior Section.
The Districts are:
Crewe North. This District supports guiding in the following areas: North Street, Pyms Lane, Brierley Street, Ford Lane, Bradfield Road and Queen Street
Crewe South East. This District supports guiding in the following areas: Bedford Street, Union Street and various venues in the Haslington area. The District also benefits from a Senior Section who meet in Haslington.
Crewe South West. This District supports guiding in the following areas: Dane Bank Avenue, Albion Street, Gainsborough Road, Stewart Street. This District also benefits from a Senior Section which meets twice monthly in Gainsborough Road.
Nantwich West.This District supports guiding in the following areas: Central Nantwich, Hospital Street Nantwich and Audlem, plus the possibility of re-opening a unit in Wrenbury.
Wistaston This District covers guiding in the following areas: different venues in Church Lane, Wistaston, Willaston area, Hough, and Shavington.
