The Leadership Qualification (LQ) is for women who would like to become leaders working with the girls in a unit. Young Leaders can start working on the LQ from the age of 16 and can become leaders from the age of 18.
Whichever section appeals most, whether Rainbows, Brownies, Guides or the Senior Section, the LQ will develop your skills and experience to help you deliver guiding that is fun, girl-led and engaging for the girls and young women in your unit.
The LQ is competency based, which means that you learn as you go along. You will also have a personal Mentor to help you through the Qualification. Our county run special evenings called LQ Get-Togethers where you can spend time working with a mentor and take part in useful, fun activities to help you with your unit meetings.
