Mersey Moot 2015

Congleton West Rangers at Mersey Moot 2015

Earlier in September 2015 an exciting opportunity was enjoyed by eleven unit members and Leaders when they had a great a weekend away together at Mersey Moot 2015, joining over a thousand Senior Section members from Girlguiding and Explorer Scouts at Tawd Vale near Ormskirk.

Daytime activities included giant inflatable assault courses, Segway course, rifle and clay pigeon shooting, archery, zip lining, caving (in a bus!) and The Racing Bug.

Sunday morning saw a brave team take part in the Super Mooter – a version of It’s a Knockout including lots of water and mud! Lots of dancing and madness was enjoyed in the evenings with live bands, a huge barn dance and discos.
